ASUS ROG AY2201 Aeroactive Cooler 6

The AeroActive Cooler 6 gives you a stable gaming experience for mobile gaming. The thermoelectric AI cooling system combines software and hardware to automatically detect the temperature of your phone. It communicates this to your ROG Phone’s software, which seamlessly decides which active cooling mode is the best for the current scenario. This prevents overheating and instability issues, while reducing power consumption to maintain a longer battery life, for a better gaming experience. There are three active cooling modes: Cooling mode uses just the fan, Frosty mode adds the thermoelectric chip powered — uniquely — by just the phone, and Frozen mode is the same as Frosty mode but using external power¹ via the side charging port for even more powerful cooling of your ROG Phone.

The AeroActive Cooler 6 targets cooling airflow directly to hotspots on the back cover of the ROG Phone 6. The result is that it can lower the surface temperature near the CPU by up to a stunning 25^°C². The centrifugal fan dissipates heat by delivering airflow to the fins, speedily lowering the temperature inside the phone. Excessive cooling could create water condensation, so there’s a built-in humidity sensor with a protection mechanism to prevent this from happening.

With its futuristic look and feel, the design of AeroActive Cooler 6 is reminiscent of sci-fi spaceships. It’s built with ergonomics in mind: the four-button layout is based on the shoulder and trigger buttons of game controllers. The multi-directional click capability of the buttons allows press, click, and toggle operations to make game control even more flexible. It’s a console-grade control experience!

The simple and intuitive expanding design allows a perfect fit on the ROG Phone. The device can attached or unclipped quickly and simply by pressing a button on the top, so you can get gaming even faster!

The Aura RGB lighting on the logo and two sides of the AeroActive Cooler 6 support multi-colored light effects that can change in different situations. The flat bottom of AeroActive Cooler 6 lets you stand the phone at two different angles, and there’s also a hidden kick-stand underneath that flips open for even more stability.
